This policy explains how third parties may — and may not — use the Verity™ name and logo. We publish it so journalists, integrators, reviewers, developers, partners, and customers know what is permitted without asking, and where to write when permission is needed.
If anything below is unclear, write to [email protected] before using our marks.
"Verity™" (the word mark) and the Verity logo (the design mark) are trademarks of Verity Software Inc., a Quebec corporation. We ask that third parties use the ™ symbol when they reference our marks.
You do not need our permission to:
This is classic nominative fair use: telling your readers what you are talking about. We encourage it.
When you use the Verity name in commercial materials (paid advertising, product packaging, partner marketing, sponsored content, app-store listings, integration marketplaces), please include the following attribution on first reference:
Verity is a trademark of Verity Software Inc.
In non-commercial contexts (independent blogs, news articles, reviews, academic work), attribution is appreciated but not required.
When you display the Verity logo:
Logo files, color tokens, and typography are available on our Brand Guidelines page. For additional formats or custom arrangements, write to [email protected].
The following uses of the Verity marks are not permitted without a prior written agreement with Verity Software Inc.:
We monitor these uses and will pursue takedowns, UDRP / URS domain disputes, app-store removal requests, registry suspensions, and other remedies where appropriate.
If you would like to use the Verity name or logo in a way this policy does not already permit — co-marketing, partner badging, merchandise, conference sponsorship, educational use, journalist press kit, anything else — write to:
Please include: who you are, what you want to do, where the use will appear, the duration, and any creative mockups. We try to respond within 10 business days.
Our app-store listings (Apple App Store, Google Play, and any other distribution channels) follow each store's brand and metadata guidelines. The product name on store listings is "Verity" with an approved tagline.
We do not use Apple's, Google's, or any other platform's trademarks in our store metadata, screenshots, or marketing except where each platform's own brand guidelines explicitly permit (for example, the "Download on the App Store" badge under Apple's Marketing Resources, or the "Get it on Google Play" badge under Google's brand guidelines).
If you publish a third-party integration with Verity in any app store, follow §2–§5 above and the host store's own trademark rules.
If you see someone misusing the Verity marks — counterfeit apps, lookalike domains, phishing pages impersonating us, fake support accounts, unlicensed merchandise, deceptive advertising — please tell us.
Write to [email protected] with:
We treat infringement reports seriously and will act on credible reports promptly.
